Composite Construction & GRP Skins

The ORiGINAL range of composite doors by DIRECT UPVC by RHINO is the minimal-maintenance alternative to traditional door materials. It has 44mm reinforced GRP skins, finished in either wood-grain or a smooth/etched finish that perfectly matches aluminium.

The ORiGINAL door out-performs other market alternatives with outstanding thermal performance. Inside the PU foam core reduces heat loss and is encompassed by an LVL (Laminated Veneer Lumber) sub-frame to provide strength and rigidity. The door protects the home from the elements and will have minimal thermal expansion and contraction rates under extreme temperature variations which is perfectly normal.

Glazing Cassettes

The ORiGINAL Composite door range uses FLiP, an exclusive glazing cassette system with revolutionary ‘Foam in Place’ technology. Choose from one of three options t suit any style of door from contemporary to traditional.

  • Corner section of FiP showing showing superior seal

    FiP Technology
